The Division spearheaded a March for Life near Saint Gregory the Great Church on Route 278 in Bluffton on January 19 during the evening rush hour. Thousands of vehicles passed by with many people offering support in the form of friendly waves, thumbs up gestures and honking. An estimated crowd of 175 participated by praying the rosary and displaying signs of the pro-life movement.

After dodging two hurricanes, the Irish Open finally teed off on October 27 at Hilton Head Lakes Golf Club. Eighty players participated under cool and cloudy conditions. That highly-skilled, flat-bellied foursome representing the Savannah AOH once again took top spot. We extend special thanks to the many volunteers who contributed to making this event a success, including members (and spouses!) of the Bishop Patrick Lynch Division and the St. Ciara Division of the LAOH. Many great raffle prizes were awarded and a wee bit of the craic was enjoyed by all at the conclusion of the day.
